Garryvoe George confident about the Dual Distance Christmas - Bettor

Garryvoe George confident about the Dual Distance Christmas Cracker ? Heat 1

Contesting in the first heat of the Dual Distance Christmas Cracker on Sunday, 9th December are, Humble Times, Jades Gem, Moyar Mac, Too Old Todream, Rathanny Annie and Garryvoe George. The 480 metres flat race will be hosted by Sittingbourne and carries the total prize money of ?150. Taking charge from the red trap will be, Humble Times, while competing in the striped jacket of the sixth trap will be, Garryvoe George.

Majority of the line-up is well seasoned at the level that they have to compete in tonight, but the most favoured candidate for capturing the winner?s prize money is the two-year-old black dog, Garryvoe George. He is backed by 10 to 11 odds.

The Seamus Cahill trained started the racing career just this season, and was successful in his very first shot at the open level. Black Shaw?s son had already proved himself over Grade A races and the confidence of the connections took him to the Grade OR Pam Bartram Memorial Trophy.

The evening?s favourite raced through the 515 metres track distance in 30.26 seconds on 15th November, 2012 at Hove. He broke from the fourth trap and was pretty tricky to contain from that moment on.

He set himself at a safe distance from the rest of the contenders, saved the ground on the wide end, and the lead that he did not compromise on for the rest of the distance, granted him success.

Winning by five lengths had Makeit Takeit coming with terms with the second position.

The participation of the two-year-old out of, Jet Brett, in the inter track 2012 Bags Track Championship ? Dogs proved out to be lucky for the connections.

This time the Seamus Cahill trained raced from the sixth trap. His early pace, ruling of the track on the wide end and the lead in which he broke after not waiting for long got him the race in 30.55 seconds.

The favourite entry won over Bleisce Major by 3 ? lengths.

His very recent open attempt at the open level at Hove did not turn out to be as expected, but a bounce back in form will ensure him success tonight.
