The Sports Business Journal reports: The NFL is prepared for cold, but contingency plans are being made for how to respond to ominous weather forecasts that might include ice, snow or blizzard conditions when the Super Bowl is played outdoors in the New York area on Feb. 2, 2014.
In the event of a storm the likes of which hit the East Coast last weekend, the NFL could reschedule its billion-dollar extravaganza in the name of safety or switch the date either to the Saturday or the Monday of that weekend.
