Laguna Blanca School, a K-12 independent school located in Santa Barbara, California, is currently accepting applications for a full-time experienced elementary school teacher on its Lower School campus for the 2013-2014 school year.?

Competitive applicants will possess the following skills and attributes:

• BA/BS Degree
• Elementary Teaching Credential
• Experience teaching language arts, math, and social studies to elementary students
• Knowledge of multiple intelligences and differentiated instruction
• Ability to address a range of student learning styles
• Experienced in integrating language arts and math skills throughout the grade level curriculum
• An interest in collegial collaboration and curriculum development within the elementary years
• High energy level
• Positive attitude
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and written
• Use and knowledge of technology in early education
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to successfully develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, students, and families
